The elements of our success
are Innovation, High Quality,
and Personalization
Premium Quality
Haco Asia Pacific has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and food safety throughout the
production chain. We believe that quality and food safety are the shared responsibility of all our
staff.
In line with our high supply chain standards, only accredited suppliers will be selected. We expect
our suppliers to adhere to the same ethical, social, and compliance standards as we do.
To achieve our quality and food safety objectives, we ensure that product analysis is provided by
our suppliers, especially for the raw materials (coffee beans) we use. Our well-trained QC team also
conducts raw material inspections by examining and testing the materials to ensure they meet the
relevant standards and requirements. Physical, chemical, and biological tests and analyses for our
raw materials, finished products, and production equipment are also performed in-house in our
laboratories.
We also engage ISO17025-certified third-party laboratories to perform critical tests and analyses for us.
We attach great importance to the hygiene of the production environment to produce safe and
high-quality products. Our production lines are carefully designated and evaluated to eliminate any
food safety risks. We have proper control procedures in place, including waste and wastewater
management, good personal hygiene for handling food, pest control management, and the detection
of metal particles or any other foreign objects that may enter the product during the production
process, using metal detectors and X-ray machines. Our QC team conducts periodic inspections
to ensure that all controls and production facilities are functioning properly.
We also adopt a Quality Management System (QMS) to help us continually improve the efficiency of
our processes and satisfy our customers with quality products and services. Through this QMS
practice, our production processes can be effectively monitored, documented, and improved to
ensure our products meet the specified requirements and standards.
Our production plants are regularly inspected by the Ministry of Health and third-party certification
bodies to ensure our compliance with relevant regulations and requirements. We always ensure
that we conform to the regulations as set forth under the Malaysian Food Regulations 1985, and
relevant audits are carried out in accordance with standards and requirements, including ISO 9001,
ISO 45001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and SEDEX.
State-of-the-art Technologies
Since its founding in 1922, Haco has firmly believed that only high-quality coffee beans, coupled
with an extraordinary roasting prole, can achieve the best-tasting coffee.
Our state-of-the-art technologies and quality roasting prole have enabled us to become coffee
experts today, consistently satisfying our global customers with a variety of flavorful coffees.
Extraction Technology
Since 1945, Haco has been a pioneer in coffee extraction and the
production of soluble coffee. Today, Haco still leads the way in this
technology.
A simple principle meets highly sophisticated technology, forming the
heart of this extraction process, which is used to obtain coffee and tea
extracts.
Blending Technology
The right mix is also a feast for the eyes. To ensure that our finished or semi-finished products are pleasing not only to the palate but also to the eye, we rely on mixing technology that involves the processes of homogeneity, structure retention, and appropriate pourability of the materials and ingredients.
Drying Technology - to preserve distinctive taste
We use a range of drying techniques to process our food products.
In the case of spray-drying, coffee is finely atomized into a stream of hot
air in a spray tower and then dried into instant soluble coffee.
Freeze-drying is a particularly gentle process for aromatic materials or
ingredients, where the extracts are frozen into a thin layer at a temperature
of minus 40°C.
Liquefaction Technology - for convenience & freshness purpose
Nowadays, customers not only expect greater convenience but also seek
high-quality food products that better retain freshness and a
homemade taste. This trend is particularly evident in the food and
beverage retail sector, as well as in cafes and restaurants.
In this version, I adjusted the phrasing for smoother ow and added "a"
before "homemade taste" for clarity.
