This versatile sauce is ideal for use in stews, goulash, Bolognese sauce, and stir-fried meat dishes.

It's also the perfect base for creating more intricate sauces like Bordelaise, Belgrade, Hunter, and Madeira.



Preparations

Yield: 12 L

100 g of powder to 1L water

Blend required amount of sauce powder into cold or lukewarm water while stirring well with a whisk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
